This all starts with … once upon a time ago …
I saw Michigan-based 19 Wheels (former front man Chris Johnston owns WAB, Loving Touch & Emory all in Ferndale) open up for the British rock band Spacehog (huge 90s hit ‘In the Meantime‘), at the July 4th Taste of Detroit (this is like back in 2001 maybe?). The group of friends we came with had a ton of fun, enjoyed great BBQ food and got to see two great bands perform live.
Well … the chance of seeing either of those bands perform again live is about zero.
BUT … Royston Langdon, former lead singer of Spacehog, will be performing at Small’s Bar on Sat., March 2. You can catch him with Jimmy Gnecco (alt-rock band OURS).
