The Peas and Carrots Hospitality Group has been working on renovating the building and menu offerings of Como’s for the past year, and they are set to reopen this Spring with a target date of May 6. The popular patio space will open a couple weeks later, with a full bar and live music or DJs every night. The center piece of the new restaurant will of course be its Detroit-style square pizza.
Part of the restaurant’s interior redesign includes a space that will feature a Traverse City Whiskey Co. tasting room, its first in the Detroit area and outside of Traverse City. The tasting room, which will open at a later date, will serve cocktails and have bottles of whiskey available for purchase.
