The 2nd Annual Havana Nights Summer Charity Soiree is taking place at The Roostertail in Detroit on Fri., Aug 2 to benefit the Belle Isle Boat House (Detroit Boat Club). The unique indoor/outdoor party will transport guests to Havana’s summer nights featuring hot Latin fusion music from Mariana Risquez and her 7 member band and Monte Carlo style casino games, complete with cold summer themed cocktails, beer and wine. The event also features a special dance lesson and performance by Mambo Marci Iwrey and YA Salsa.
General admission, VIP, and Party Pass tickets are available through the event website and include 1 free ticket with a group purchase of 3 or 5. General admission tickets include: 10 drink sample tickets, commemorative glass, keepsake photo, $100 of casino chips, $10 gift certificate for a future Social Connection event, plus raffles. VIP tickets include an extra hour of samples and 15 sample tickets, plus $250 of casino chips and a $20 gift certificate for future events. A cash bar and food for purchase are also available throughout the event.
Proceeds from the event benefit The Detroit Boat Club Crew, which is the oldest rowing club in North America (founded in 1839).
