The Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the City’s Barktoberfest event on Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Memorial Park (13 Mile and Woodward). Bring your favorite dogs and people to this fall festival centered around locally-brewed craft beer, food, and live music. Enjoy browsing vendor booths with everything from pet-related products to locally-made crafts and cool wearables and enter your pup in the Howl-a-ween Costume Contest, Weiner Dog Race, and more.
Barktoberfest is $5 per person, kids 10 and under are free; all proceeds go to Detroit Dog Rescue.
