Every year, Tour-De-Troit justifies all the paczki that will be consumed on Fat Tuesday by hosting a 5K Paczki Run before the big day.
The run takes place Sat., Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. and winds through the residential streets of Hamtramck with a straight shot down charming Main Street, highlighting the city that boasts “The World in 2 Square Miles.” The start and finish is the intersection of Joseph Campau Avenue and Hanley Street.
After the race, every finisher gets a paczki and a beer. Plus, enjoy food, drink, and store discounts at local establishments throughout the day by presenting your race bib.
