The Town Tavern in downtown Royal Oak has closed for good. After 13 years, restaurateur Bill Roberts has decided to call it quits due to the financial pressures caused by COVID-19, according to the Royal Oak Tribune.
Roberts operates five other restaurants throughout the area, which at this time plan to reopen.
Town Tavern was a popular spot for happy hour, being offered seven days a week.
