Los Angeles’ rock band Dirty Honey has an ambitious 2019. Led by frontman Marc Labelle, guitarist John Notto, bassist Justin Smolian, and drummer Corey Coverstone, the band released their debut EP on March 22.

The inaugural Chef Battle Detroit will feature local chefs that will have one hour to compete to be named Detroit’s Best Chef.

The Church return to the U.S. this spring for the second leg of the Starfish 30th Anniversary Tour and will be making a stop at the Magic Bag in Ferndale on April 11.

You’ll be able to head to the beach a littler earlier this year. Library Street Collective will open The Beach Detroit, an interactive installation by New York-based design group Snarkitecture.
