Bourbon and Bowties on Belle Isle


The Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle is hosting a lively night of bourbon tasting and great food for a good cause on Fri., April 5 from 7-10 p.m. The Bourbon and Bowties event will showcase seven unique bourbons from Detroit and Kentucky distillers along with a strolling Southern and regional menu.

Test your knowledge with bourbon trivia led by special guests from Two James Spirits and Detroit City Distillery and learn to make a Kentucky Buck and a Black Manhattan at our cocktail mixing station.

Live jazz music will be performed by students from the MSU Community Music School-Detroit and a silent auction will feature one-of-a-kind local dining and experiences.

The museum’s galleries will be open to guests during the event.

The event is cocktail dress, tickets are $100 for Detroit Historical Society members and
$125 for guests. All proceeds from the event benefit the Dossin Great Lakes Museum.
